Psychological Therapy
'The shoe that fits one person pinches another, there is no recipe for living that suits all cases'
Carl Jung
Psychological therapy can be effective for a range of problems, from acute anxiety and depression, to more complex or long term issues that may have started in earlier life and impact on your ability to form meaningful relationships. Whether you are experiencing these difficulties for the first time, or you have been feeling stressed for a long time, support is available for you.
You may be experiencing one or more of the following:

-
Finding it difficult to engage in work or activities that you used to enjoy
-
Feeling alone or isolated
-
Finding it difficult to form meaningful relationships
-
Finding small tasks overwhelming and finding it difficult to cope
-
Feeling stressed in the workplace
-
Feeling restless, anxious or agitated
-
Finding it difficult to come to terms with a loss
-
Feeling out of control or dependent on a substance, activity or person that you recognise may be causing other problems for you
-
Harming yourself or feeling suicidal

I will provide a safe, confidential space to explore your difficulties. We will think about the core issues which are causing your distress, identify unhelpful patterns which are maintaining these and work towards more helpful responses to help overcome challenges. This may be through solution focused work or a more explorative approach.
